I had the BEST experience working with Christine for both my engagement photos in May 2019 and wedding photos in January 2020. From the first e-mail communication, I could instantly tell how friendly and professional she was. When we met in person for our engagement session, I instantly felt comfortable working with her and appreciated how patient she was as she walked us through each step and pose. From the time we started planning our wedding, I knew one of the most important vendor decisions we would make would be the photographer. Right from the start, Christine was incredibly helpful and responsive. Due to our somewhat limited budget we were worried about being able to afford a photographer of Christine’s caliber. However, after Christine flexibly worked with us to find a custom package that fit our budget, we were not only ecstatic about the quality our future pictures, but also relieved knowing we would have someone so accommodating to work with on our wedding day.
After hiring Christine, I realized how absolutely imperative it is to choose a photographer that not only takes beautiful pictures, but has the right personality as well. As fairly shy bride, I was incredibly relieved when I quickly discovered Christine was not afraid to take charge of a situation, but was also willing to bend over backwards for any request my husband or I had. Many times throughout the day, she was willing to advocate for me when other people were not listening. We chose to have our portraits and first look photos done before the wedding, but since my husband and I both had a pretty relaxed approach to wedding planning, neither of us had specific ideas of poses or locations in mind. Christine took the initiative to scope out the location and talk to the staff to find the best place for our pictures. When we were ready for our portraits, she already had a well thought-out plan which helped the shoot go smoothly even while coordinating many different groups people.
During the ceremony and reception, she somehow managed to be nowhere, but everywhere at the same time. If it weren’t for the lovely photos that cover every tiny moment of the ceremony from multiple angles, I would have sworn she vanished. I was able to be completely present in the moment while she silently and inconspicuously captured the event. By the end of the night when Christine gave me a hug goodbye, I realized that it was like saying goodbye to one of my guests. In eight (very fast) hours, she had become part of the celebration rather than just a vendor we hired for a service.
As amazing as our whole experience with Christine was, the time she absolutely shined was as we looked through our wedding photos. I was completely blown away at the quantity of absolutely stunning photos we were given. As a girl with a history of looking awkward in photos, I was ecstatic to find I loved every single photo. Not only did she capture so many unforgettable moments, she managed to make them so uniquely “us.” She didn’t take generic, stiff-posed wedding photos – she used what she observed about us to create beautiful photos that perfectly capture the best of our personalities within every moment. The photos she captured of my father and I are ones I will absolutely cherish for the rest of my life. I completely believe the best choice we made in planning our wedding was choosing to work with Christine. I loved having you come to my house for the session! Getting out of the house with a newborn and toddler was difficult at first so it made it so much easier to have you come to us. We had our sons one year old pictures taken by Christine and couldn’t have been happier with how they came out. I wasn’t planning on having a photographer at his first birthday party but after seeing the pictures christine took I quickly changed my mind. My husband was deployed and unable to be there so I was so happy to have memories to share with him. Christine is very professional and got our photos to us in a short time. We love the pictures Christine took for us! I found her online and from the beginning she was so patient with my newborn son and I. After viewing her website I decided to text her and see if she was up to the challenge! We clicked right away and I knew I made the right choice! She has done out maternity pictures and we also are in the midst of our baby’s first year photos. This is out first child and we wanted to capture his growth through the first year. Christine has great ideas for posing – which I am not creative with – and she is wonderful to take pictures with. Her photos speak for themselves – AMAZING! My son was very alert and cranky when we scheduled our newborn session and even though we had to stop many times for a feeding, soothing, etc. Christine was still able to get the natural shots I was looking for! I had so much fun having my senior pictures taken by Christine. I thought it might be awkward, but Christine was very nice. She let me change outfits as many times as I wanted and agreed to meet me wherever I wanted pictures taken. I don’t usually like pictures of myself but they came out great. I absolutely loved the pictures. There were many to choose from and they had such beautiful coloring and clear quality. She also offered the most reasonable prices for such a great value. Our experience with Oly Photography was totally positive. This was for my granddaughter’s senior pictures and she was given the option of where she would like to go for the session. We were treated with kindness and respect and the pictures turned out wonderful. There were over 200 to choose from!
